It Takes a Village just announced the first acts for the trip to Trabolgan 2020

It’s the only Irish festival with a pool party.
And this year, It Takes a Village is planning on making the third instalment of the festival at Trabolgan Holiday Village the best yet.
Tickets for the May 8th-10th seaside weekender are on sale now and organisers have revealed the first acts include legendary New York house aficionado Joe Claussell, who will be joined by Cork’s Fish Go Deep for a six-hour “voyage through spiritual, sacred and sweaty house music” and Mad Professor, one of the pioneers of the UK Dub scene.
Festival goers can also catch a live set from Romare, who brings his cut and paste samples of African influenced dusty jazz, psychedelic and blues music mashed with electronic musings, and Scary Éire, who blend hip hop, reggae, jazz, punk, ska, and traditional Irish and return to Cork for the first time since their legendary Sir Henry’s show.
Amsterdam-based Altin Gun and Lynks Afrikka are also confirmed for the 2020 festival, along with Junior Brother, Pillow Queens, Gay Future, Eddie Kay & Raf Daddy, Bantum, Percolator and Vicky Langan.
They’ll be playing in a multitude of venues all around the village; from ballrooms and back bars to amusement arcades and houses, swimming pools and front porches. Ticket start at €154 here.
