Is Machu Picchu on your bucket list? This free talk will help you plan your trip

The six-day trek to the lost city of Machu Picchu is one of the most iconic in the world.
Defined by massive snow-capped mountains which collide with lush tropical rainforests, the journey on the Salkantay trail is widely considered the most beautiful route to the ruins.
If you’re planning the epic journey for yourself, keep Monday evening, March 26th free.
Adventure travel experts Earth’s Edge will be presenting a free information evening at 53 Degrees North in Cork City.
Earth’s Edge 11-day Machu Picchu packages are inclusive of a pre-departure weekend in Glendalough, Wicklow, flights from Dublin, in-country transport, a full local guiding and support team, accommodation, all meals on the trek, the Machu Picchu entry fee, a celebratory meal and an Earth’s Edge softshell jacket.
Each group is joined by an experienced Irish guide and a doctor who travels with the group from Dublin.
Earth’s Edge will be covering everything from equipment to training, with a Q&A session at the end, so even if you’re not planning on travelling with a group, there’ll be plenty of expert tips to be gleaned on the night.
The talk begins at 7pm until 9pm at 53 Degrees North, Unit 7, The Cornmarket Centre, Paul Street, Cork. Register here.
