Iarnród Éireann confirm that all trains to Dublin for the All-Ireland are SOLD OUT

The trains will be packed on Sunday.
Intercity trains between Cork and Dublin, which are currently operating at 75% capacity due to Covid, have ALL sold-out ahead of Sunday afternoon’s All-Ireland Hurling Final between Cork and Limerick.
Original trains between Cork and Dublin had sold out on August 18th, but additional special trains that have been added to the schedule have now also been sold out.
Tickets will not be available at the station on the day. This includes all return trains in the direction of Cork and Limerick. In total, eighteen different services have sold out ahead of the final.
Iarnród Éireann have repeatedly stressed that passengers must travel on the train departing at the time corresponding to the ticket they booked. Social media posts have also reminded hurling fans that a mask must be worn while on the train, and that alcohol cannot be consumed while travelling.
Similarly, Croke Park will be operating at just half-capacity, with only 41,000 set to be in attendance for Sunday’s match.
