It’s an iconic photo back drop.

And if you’d like to add a Christmassy shot of the fam’ in front of the iconic red Coca-Cola Christmas Truck to the album this year, it’ll be rolling into Cork in early December.

The cherry-red truck will be arriving at Cork’s Mahon Point Shopping Centre on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, bringing all the Christmas cheer you could possibly drink (plus a side of Instagrammable moments).

Although this year’s AI-generated ads have proven a little controversial, Coca-Cola’s iconic vehicle has become a beloved holiday icon since it first appeared in the original TV ad back in 1995.

The ad featured a glowing red truck driving through a wintery landscape, bringing Coca-Cola to a cheering crowd, and it quickly became synonymous with the start of the Christmas season. The truck itself, decked out in sparkling lights, was soon brought to life, embarking on a festive tour around the world.

“Get ready to experience the real magic of Christmas with the iconic Coca-Cola Truck, live music, photo ops and samples.” the Mahon Point team announced on Instagram.

Under a canopy of twinkling lights and festive music, visitors will be able to enjoy fun, festive games, participate in a lucky dip with the chance to win Coca‑Cola merch.

The Truck Tour is free of charge and will be live from 2pm – 9pm.
