Hit this boozy bar-on-wheels all weekend for live music in the sun
The Van is back.
With temperatures expected to hit up to 24C degrees today, we are on the hunt for the sunniest spots we can find with a bar close by.
Right in the middle of Kinsale town, the folks at Acton’s Hotel have announced the return of their boozy bar on wheels to their long lawns overlooking the harbour- so you can savour a fresh G&T while soaking up the rays until sunset.
“Join us this June Bank Holiday Weekend for some craic agus ceol,” said the hotel crew on Instagram, adding that there will be “live music on the Sunday from the brilliant band ‘Daingean Berries’.”

Acton’s Hotel is located on the Pier Road, Kinsale. The Van is open from 12pm-7pm starting this weekend and every weekend into the summer.
Music by Daingean Berries will be taking place from 3pm-5pm today, Sunday, June 4th and you don’t need a reservation – just turn up on the day.
