It’s the perfect way to start the weekend.

The Irish Designer Sample Sale Event returns to Cork for its second year this Friday, April 20th.

The event, held party-style in St Peters on North Main Street, offers a rare opportunity to get your hands on some truly unique pieces, including samples used for photoshoots, prototypes for production and items previously displayed in store, as well as end of line stock.

The two-day event kicks off with a Sample Sale Shindig, complete with complimentary drinks from Cork’s very own Stonewell and tunes spinning into the evening, from 5pm.

Founding member of the collective, as well as owner and creative director of the fashion and accessories label Manley, Emma Manley will be selling at the event.

You’ll also be able to browse bargains from Theo & George by Philadelphia designer, Katie O’Riordan and ‘Irish Designer of the Year’ 2015, Jill De Burca, whose clients include Stella McCartney and Mary Katrantzou.

Edge Only, a luxury jewellery line founded by former Irish radio DJ Jenny Huston, will be bringing their gorgeous ethical collections for your browsing pleasure.

Cork-based jewellery designer, Maria Doria Raj, who creates pieces using precious metals and fusing traditional and modern techniques will be at St Peter’s on the night too, along with renowned jewellery designer Mairead De Bláca from Mallow.
