It’s all starting to take shape.

Olan Crowley’s new Bean & Berry Café in Garretstown is almost ready for its grand opening.

The entrepreneur, who runs the Bean & Berry coffee truck near the beach, is renovating the Blue Horizon, a popular guest house that has welcomed staycationers to the area since the 1980s.

This week he treated the café’s Instagram fans to a peek behind the scenes at the premises… and it looks pretty cool.

Inside, a wooden coffee counter has been installed, paired with grey walls, exposed beams, purple industrial seating, and vintage-inspired lighting.

Outside there are plenty of picnic tables arranged to make the most of the breathtaking ocean views over Courtmacsherry Bay.
