Here’s a new hipster Cork coffee stop to add to your daily grind

Our coffee game is strong in Cork.
And it’s only getting better – caffeine fiends are raving about a new coffee spot in Farranlea Park on the Model Farm Road that’s the ideal stop on your commute if you live in that neck of the woods.
Beantown Cafe opened at the end of the summer and immediately became a hit among the locals. There’s a buzzy atmosphere inside but you won’t be waiting long for a table.
The coffee is delish (their lattes come highly recommended) and the sandwich list is impressive too; they do a mean Reuben complete with saurkraut and a Pastrami Melt with tomato, rocket and cheddar for €6.50.
There are salads and smoothies on the board daily if you’re determined to stay on the straight and narrow.
Or you could choose something light for lunch and treat yourself to a Hassett’s Bakery special from the cake stand instead.
Beantown Cafe opens at 8am for all your caffeine-related needs.
