Here are three lovely Santas Cork kids can visit for FREE this Christmas

Visiting Santa is a core memory for many of us.
But with everything from rent to grocery costs on the rise, shelling out €20 per child (more in many cases) might not be feasible for many this year, especially if you have a large family.
Luckily, a number of Cork venues are ensuring that every child in Cork gets an audience with the big man himself. While they won’t usually include a gift (pop a small treat or toy in your pocket to surprise them with afterwards) you can snap as may photos as you like for the album without spending a small fortune.
Mahon Point
At Mahon Point Shopping Centre, all Santa visits are free and all are welcome with no booking required.
On Black Friday, November 28th. Santa and Mrs. Claus will make their grand arrival at 4:30pm. Arrive an hour early for a performance by the Gaelscoil Mhahan choir, and a special dance showcase from ACA Performing Arts.
From November 29th onward, Santa will be greeting visitors at his grotto in its usual spot near Boots and Frasers. Check out the hours for your free visit here.
Here’s a peek at some of the magic from last year:

Cobh Christmas Market
Cobh is set to sparkle as the town kicks off the festive season with a two-day Christmas Market on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th November — and it’s shaping up to be the perfect free family day out by the sea.
The Promenade will be brimming with local stalls selling crafts, treats, and gifts, while the air fills with the sounds (and smells!) of Christmas.
On Saturday at 5.30pm, the Christmas lights will be officially switched on, transforming the town into a twinkling winter wonderland — just in time for Santa’s big arrival at 6pm, when he’ll be greeting little ones and handing out treats.
While you’re in town, make a day of it with a stroll along the harbour, a visit to the Titanic Experience Cobh, or a peek inside the stunning St. Colman’s Cathedral — both just a short walk from the market.
Wilton Shopping Centre
Santa Claus is coming to Wilton on Friday, November 28th at 6pm.
The party will begin at 5.30pm and the big man himself will be arriving with the Ballincollig Vintage Car Club, joined by Elsa and Olaf from Frozen and Mrs Claus.
The whole gang will all be available for photos before a Christmas sing-along.
