Handy new site has several pub trails mapped out for the Jazz Festival

The perfect Cork companion.
Cork man James Buckley has launched Cork Pub Trails, a website designed to help explorers navigate the city with respect to finding the perfect pub for them.
The free-to-use site boasts data for every bar in the city, and curates lists for users based on several criteria, such as geography, cocktails, craft beer and more.
The tool would appear to be the perfect companion for the upcoming Jazz Festival, with tailored routes such as ‘The All Dayer,’ ‘The Weekend Essentials’ and ‘The South Side Stroll.’ The site also breaks down which acts are playing at which venues and at which times.
“For the Jazz weekend there is specific Jazz functionality, which includes a comprehensive music search (based on day, time, location, etc.) as well as curated trails especially for the jazz,” Buckley said.
The festival kicks off tomorrow and will run until Monday.
“Cork Pub Trails is about finding the best night out, every night. Cork is teeming with fantastic bars just waiting to be explored. The beauty of Cork is that’s a city but is as accessible as a town. Cork is a very walkable city, with lots of pedestrianisation, a flat city centre, plenty of bridges, public transport options and not too much distance to cover. The city centre contains well over 100 different bars, with something for everyone.
“The best advice we can give is to get out and see as much as you can!”
