Happyjan Designs owner Marta Pikula turned her crafty hobby into a business two years ago: ‘When I first found chunky merino wool I just fell in love with it.’ Marta told Yay Cork.
‘First I made a big blanket for myself, then my friends and family liked my creations so much they were asking for more and more… so I decided to set up a small home-based business and offer my products to everyone who loves chunky merino wool.”
Custom made with care from 100 percent natural, super soft and chunky yarn, all Happyjan Designs items are hypoallergenic.
The wool even regulates temperature so they keep you warm in winter and cool in the summer.
The cushions start at €38 and come in a range of trending colours, from dove grey to charteuse.
