Graham Norton will read from his new book at West Cork Literary Festival

As if we needed another excuse to head for Bantry in July.
Everybody’s favourite West Cork local Graham Norton will be reading from his new book at the West Cork Literary Festival this summer.
The comedian, TV star and bestselling author will host an evening for book lovers at The Maritime Hotel in the seaside town on Thursday, July 18th, 2019 at 8.30pm (tickets €30 here), reading from A Keeper, his second novel.
A Keeper unravels the story of Elizabeth Keane, who returns to Ireland after her mother’s death, intent only on wrapping up a dismal part of her life. Emptying the house of her childhood, she chances upon a small stash of letters and the past begins to break open at last, casting a shadow across Elizabeth’s present –and her future.
The reading is set to be one of the most popular events of the West Cork Literary Festival (July 12th to 19th), with a week-long series of workshops and readings.
This year’s line-up also features Mary Robinson, Tracey Thorn, Kevin Barry and Anne Carson as well as writing workshops with Adam Weymouth, Wendy Erskine, Liz Berry, Ye Vagabonds, Dave Lordan and ER Murray.
