Grab your togs: Two huge inflatable water parks are about to reopen for the summer

It’s probably the most fun you can have while exercising.
Two huge inflatable water parks are getting ready to reopen for the season this May bank holiday weekend in Mallow and Coachford, with new layouts promising a fresh challenge for kids and grown-ups alike.
The 40m squared inflatable water parks are run by Ballyhass in old quarry lakes in Mallow and in the Lee Valley Harbour on the Iniscarra Dam in Coachford.
You do need to be able to swim (you’ll be swimming out to the course, to begin with) but team members will be paddling around on stand-up paddleboards at all times during the session so you have eyes on you at all times.
Each park invites guests to jump, bounce and race each other around the wipeout-style courses to their heart’s content, taking on four-metre high slides, huge climbing walls, blast bags, balance logs, trampolines, and a giant catapult.
Entry is from €20 per person, including wetsuit hire, buoyancy aids, and a 60-minute session on the Aqua Park.
