Got something that needs fixing? Bring it to The Repair Café this Sunday

Got a broken toaster? A wonky lamp?
Or maybe your favourite jacket just needs a little TLC? Instead of chucking it in the bin, why not bring it to the Lough Community Centre this Sunday, January 26th, 2025.
Between 2pm and 5pm, a Repair Café will run at the venue, offering visitors a chance to get some expert help and advice on mending all manner of items.
What’s the deal?
You bring your broken items, and their team of local repair experts will do their best to help you get them back to working order — all for free! (Yep, you heard that right. Free repairs!)

Whether it’s a dodgy kettle, a jammed sewing machine, or even a bicycle in need of some love, they’ve got you covered. And if you’re the type who loves getting hands-on and fixing things, you can drop in and lend a hand. It’s a great chance to share your skills with others.
Not in the mood to fix anything? No problem! You can still swing by to hang out, have a cuppa, and see the magic happen.
There’ll be tea, coffee, and a friendly atmosphere, so it’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Plus, you might just leave with a newly repaired item in hand.
