Brought to you by Pompeii Pizza.
Finally; some good news.
The fire went out on Saturday night and the oven cooled to a balmy 200 degrees for the first time in five years. But now they’re fired up again and back on the road.
Pompeii Pizza at the Franciscan Well is one of many Cork businesses who have been rapidly adapting to the current situation… and they’ve come up with a service that will make their regular customers very happy indeed during these trying times.
If you’re craving a slice of normality, you can now have your usual Pompeii pizza delivered to your door, fresh from their wood-fired oven on the North Mall from 6pm – 9pm daily.
You can place an order online at pompeiipizza.ie.
“We’re putting pretty much our full menu online and making it as easy as possible for our customers to enjoy the Pompeii Pizza experience in the safety and comfort of their living room.” said the Pompeii crew.
Customers will be able to create their own 12″ or 14″ pizzas or pick their favourite from the list of set pizzas.
The Pompeii Pizza team is also putting the finishing touches on a limited menu of chilled pizzas that customers can buy cold and heat up at home. And that’s not all: “We also are working on a range of wood-fired breads for home delivery and pairing up with our old market buddies, Yummie Foods who make Cork’s finest jams, chutneys, pestos and tapenades.”
But WAIT there’s more…
Why not organise a video link pizza party with friends or order a pizza for a friend or family member to let them know you’re thinking about them? It’s another great way to look after each other while staying away from one another.
