Fota Wildlife Park to extend its opening hours from tomorrow

Fota Wildlife Park is one of Cork’s best days out.
Fota Wildlife Park has announced that it will be opening to the public from 9am starting tomorrow (July 10th). Not only that, but visitors will now be able to enter the park from as late as 6pm.
In a statement on their website, the park said: “From Sat 10th July until Sunday 22nd August, Fota Wildlife Park is delighted to announce extended opening hours with time slots available from 9am in the morning up until a later entry at 6pm allowing visitors to enjoy the Park until it closes at 8pm.
“Hot food menu will be served until 6.45 pm for anyone wishing to dine in the special surroundings of the 100-acre Wildlife Park.”
And in news that is almost certain to make you hungry, the park has also announced a new “combined entry ticket” that includes a BBQ Meal Deal, priced at €27.50 for adults, €17 for children, and €23 for students (as well as a €83 family ticket that includes two adults and two children).
The menu gives the option of either a home-made 100% beef burger on brioche bun – from O’Connell butchers, homemade local sausage marinated in a hickory dip, or a vegetarian burger served with buttered corn on the cob, a homemade slaw, and chips.
