First look at Cork’s Cillian Murphy as the face of the latest Versace Icons campaign
‘Strong, direct and iconic.’
Those are the words used by Italian fashion maven Donatella Versace to describe Cork actor Cillian Murphy, as the Oscar winner and global man-of-the-moment is unveiled as one of the stars of the latest Versace Icons campaign.
Murphy joins fellow Oscar winner Anne Hathaway in the international ad campaign, shot by photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, wearing a virgin wool single-breasted tailored jacket with Medusa Biggie detail; virgin wool tailored pants; a vest and a silk Barocco foulard (that’s a small scarf, FYI).

Sharing the first photo, Donatella wrote, “Cillian Murphy for Versace Icons ✨ When I saw Cillian on the set of the shoot, I saw the Versace man in him right away.
“Strong, direct and iconic! Cillian is one of today’s best actors and I admire and respect him so much. I hope you all love the campaign as much as we loved shooting it.”
