The café, which has been causing a buzz among foodies since it opened at the start of the summer, has just launched a dinner service on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Cork chef Darren Kennedy has returned from London to join the team at Short Quay and has been busy building a larder of exciting ferments, pickles and other delectable starters for the menu.

Owner Barbara Nealon welcomed locals into the eatery for a taste of what’s to come on Monday night and they’ll be accepting walk-ins from 5pm this Friday.
