Suffering from writer’s block?

There’s an excellent reason to put pen to paper this Sunday, April 26th – The Friary bar is taking their ‘Fiction at the Friary’ meet-up online so you can tune in for some inspiration at home.

The free event for writers and wannabe writers is normally held in the Shandon Street pub on the last Sunday of each month.

Co-hosted by writers Madeleine D’Arcy and Danielle McLaughlin, the group gets together to listen to readings and chat about their work with fellow scribes in an effort to inspire and support each other.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the meeting is now going online, with a talk by guest author Neil Hegarty, writing prompts and a raffle for free books.
