The mural, which depicts the theatre in a striking film noir style, has quickly become a local talking point.
“We were chuffed to discover this stunning film noir-inspired street art at the bottom of York Street!” the Everyman crew posted on Twitter/X.
“Artist, reveal yourself…”
We’ve since discovered that the piece is the work of local artist Kevin O’Brien, who painted the scene as one of a series of four new electricity box murals in the area. Look out for the others on your next stroll through the VQ.
