Every delicious dish on this Cork food truck menu involves glorious spuds

We love an old spud, so we do.
In fact, when it comes to potato products, we could happily devour them at every meal.
That’s why one particular food truck at Cork’s bustling Marina Market has become one of our must-visits every time we’re in the area.
Prataí specialise in serving up the humble potato with a twist.
First, there’s the baked potatoes, more accurately ‘coal-roasted’, and served with sour cream, cheddar cheese and salsa – €8 for the Classic.
Divine.
If you’re in the mood to pimp your poppies, the Irish Spud comes with bacon lardons and buttered cabbage, while the Mexican Fiesta is slathered in chilli con carne and all the trimmings. Meat eaters can go for the BBQ Feast, a spud topped with slow-cooked BBQ brisket, sweetcorn and cheese, while veggies can order their potato with curd, seasonal salsa, sprout and pumpkin seeds.

If that sounds too tame, you can try the Prataí Fries in a Cone with one of ten tasty sauces or go all out with a tub of Loaded Chunky Chips or Sweet Potato Chips topped with pulled pork, brisket, chilli or bacon.
Look out for the daily specials too; this week there was a Crispy Squid topped with new fresh pink potato crisps on the go, as well as a Miso Glazed Baked Sweet Potato, served with spicy falafel and maple syrup cashew nuts.
Fancy…
