Europe’s largest thrift festival is coming to Cork for the first time this autumn

The Dublin and Belfast editions sold out.
Now Europe’s Largest Thrift Festival is finally coming to Cork this autumn.
Clothes Cycle returns to Ireland with over 100 independent sellers, thousands of shoppers, and a full-day festival experience on Saturday, September 12th, running from 11am to 6pm at the Marina Market on Centre Park Road.
More than a vintage market, Clothes Cycle has become one of the UK’s fastest-growing fashion events, creating a completely new way to experience second-hand shopping. From archive designer pieces and curated vintage collections to €2 bargain rails, visitors can expect something for every style and every budget.

Whether you’re a serious vintage collector, looking to refresh your wardrobe sustainably, or simply after a great day out with friends, it’s looking like a fun day.
Visitors can expect a free all-day clothes swap (bring up to five items and swap them for something new) with DJs and live music throughout the day, street food, a fully stocked bar, and plenty of chill-out areas and outdoor seating.
There will also be a free alteration station, pop-ups including permanent jewellery, tooth gems, and tattoos, thousands of curated vintage pieces and fun giveaways throughout the day, including free tote bags for the first 150 attendees.

“We’ve always believed shopping second-hand should be every bit as exciting as buying new,” said founder Poppy Collingwood-Cameron.
“Clothes Cycle isn’t just somewhere to shop; it’s somewhere to spend the day. People come with friends, discover incredible independent businesses, listen to music, swap clothes, grab food, and leave with pieces they’ll genuinely love.
“The response we’ve had across Ireland has been incredible, and we’re so excited to bring Clothes Cycle to Cork. We genuinely think people are going to love it.”
