After more than half a century on the road, the four-year Elton John Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour kicked off in 2018, thrilling audiences around the world with a catalogue of hit songs from Sir Elton’s 50-year career.
And it looks like this might well be your last chance to catch the Rocket Man live; the megastar, one of the top-selling artists of all time, is planning on retiring to be with his kids, sons Zachary, ten, and Elijah, eight, and husband David Furnish.
“After the tour finishes, I’m very much looking forward to closing off that chapter of my life by saying farewell to life on the road.” Sir Elton said.
“I need to dedicate more time to raising my children.”
