If you’ve been considering adding some new dishes to your summer repertoire this year, a Cork garden centre is hosting the ideal event to help you cheat your way to barbecue stardom.
The Pavillion Garden Centre in Ballygarvan is hosting a BBQ Masterclass Evening on July 7th, kicking off at 6.30pm.
After a prosecco welcome, the venue’s chef David Rice, who has worked with Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsey, and his team will cook a three-course menu on Weber barbecues using a variety of cool techniques that you can pick up and try at home.
Guests will enjoy barbecue pulled pork bruschetta canapes with red cabbage and raisin slaw. a hot smoked salmon, celeriac and apple remoulade, dill pancake and seared and spiced tomahawk steak, pancetta and scallion potato cake, served with wilted spinach, and béarnaise sauce.
All the best barbecues include top-notch desserts so there’s BBQ chocolate fondant with vanilla bean ice cream to finish the evening.
