Great news for Cork’s bookworms.
Dubray Books has announced that it will open its ever Cork bookshop, taking up residency on St. Patrick Street.
The chain, which has several locations in Dublin, Wicklow and Galway, will move in to the premises previously occupied by Collins Bookshop until two years ago, next to the Golden Discs.
“The thriving arts scene, wealth of local writing talent, and a strong publishing tradition in the city makes it an obvious choice for a bookseller that enjoys engaging with its community,” said Susan Walsh said, marketing manager at Dubray.
The company confirmed on social media that there is “no exact date yet” for its official opening but that “early November is the plan.”
