Have you been told you have the voice of an angel?
Cork Opera House is calling on all emerging opera singers to apply for the Cara O’Sullivan Associate Artists Programme Masterclass 2021.
The late Cara O’Sullivan performed in many operas, including Cosi fan Tutte, La Traviata, Handel’s Messiah and Faust, before her tragic passing at the age of 59 in January of this year. Cork Opera House CEO Eibhlín Gleeson said Cara was loved “not only for her magnificent talent but for her kindness and the generosity of spirit” she brought to her performances.
The masterclasses will be delivered in her name by the 2021 Cara O’Sullivan Associate Artists; Rory Musgrave, Emma Nash, Rachel Croash and Gavan Ring.

The aim of the programme is to provide an opportunity for third level and graduate singers who are at a key stage of their professional development in the opera industry. Two masterclasses will be presented on the weekend of November 6th and 7th, 2021.
There are five places on each masterclass and an audience of observers will also be invited to attend.
Singers of any voice type may apply and applicants must supply a short video recording.
