Dacent Munch reveals an opening date in Carrigaline (and they’re serving gatts too)

The menu has a proper Cork flavour.
Now the Northside brothers behind the food truck-turned-restaurant business Dacent Munch are branching out again, with a brand new eatery set to open in Carrigaline.
Dacent Munch & Gatts Carrigaline opens on November 12th, 2024, joining Dacent Munch in Mayfield Shopping Centre in Liam and Ciarn Horgan’s burger business empire.
And there’s more exciting news; as you may have gleaned from the name, the Carrigaline spot will also be serving drinks (gatts, FYI) with a full bar license and live music on the weekends.

You can rock up and order their bestsellers including the Old Laid (a double smashed pattie or buttermilk chicken topped with cheese, candied bacon and crispy onions with Sham Sauce), The Cure (topped with American cheese and breaded deep fried buttermilk chicken goujons seasoned with piri piri, with a choice of satay or curry sauce) or The Feen, served with Buffalo mozzarella, Spanish chorizo, Italian sausage, pepperoni, twisty fries and chipotle mayonnaise.
The Carrigaline restaurant will also be rolling out a new menu, featuring exciting options such as birria tacos if you don’t fancy a burger.
Don’t forget an order of Savage Tots, which truly are savage, and the cheesecake of the week for later.
