Cult bakery WildFlour just thrilled fans with news of a second location

Form an orderly queue, folks.
Iconic Innishannon bakery WildFlour has announced the location of its second shop – and it’ll be especially exciting for regular visitors to West Cork.
Chris Fahy is bringing his famous cinnamon buns and breads further west to the seaside town of Bantry, where the familiar orange shop front reveal delighted locals this week.
“There has been rumours, but there it is now. BANTRY,” they announced on Instagram.

While the WildFlour team is still working on the interior of the new shop and no official opening date has been announced just yet, it is expected to be operational by late summer.
In any case, it won’t be long until Bantry locals are treated to savoury creations such as caramelised leek pastries with smoked gubbeen béchamel, crispy potatoes and parmesan or stunning sweet buns stuffed with blood orange crème patisserie, outrageously delicious cruffins and the most perfect croissants to be had outside of France.
The sandwiches are next level, and naturally, you’ll want to be snaffling a big ‘ole sourdough to take home for later too.
Keep an eye on their socials for updates or join the line in Inishannon for your fix.
