Cork’s first podcasting studio just opened on the South Mall

It seems like everybody from your nail technician to your office intern has their own podcast these days.
In fact, so popular is the pod that a dedicated podcast studio has been created in Cork to help would-be podcasters to produce them professionally.
The broadcast quality studio at Republic of Work, which is also used by national stations, TodayFM and Newstalk, is now available for hire (book here) so you can wax lyrical about your favourite topics without sounding like an amateur.
And don’t panic if you’re more talk than tech; there’s a range of production and editing options available to polish up your content too.
The target is to produce over 100 podcasts from the studio in its first year on topics ranging from innovation to recruitment, and education to entertainment.
In fact, Republic of Work is kicking things off by launching its own podcast, Innovate, which will cover a range of global, national and local news and interviews.
