Cork Zine Fest is back with a collector’s market in Shandon this December

It’s getting bigger every year.
Next month, you will once again get the chance to meet the makers behind some of Ireland’s most popular zines as a new team of enthusiast creators rolls out the biggest Cork Zine Fest yet.
The annual festival will take place over two days and one night, featuring a hopping collectors market and a special evening of small publishing events taking place on the Saturday. The market will be hosted by the relatively new “radical community space” The Living Commons on Shandon Street.
The Northside venue, which regularly pioneers free community events such as Clay Meditation, the Radical Library, and various cultural programmes, will host the latest iteration of the festival, now in its fifth year.

The market will open its doors to zine fans from 11am-4pm on Saturday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 4th. An evening event with Good Day Cork (who will be presenting a ‘Many Tongues of Cork’ pop-up at the festival) will take place from 6.30pm to 9pm on Saturday, December 3rd.
Attendees will be invited to participate in a “live zine performance” on the night.
The event event is free but ticketed. Visit the festival’s Instagram for more information.
