Cork will host three events as part of the Festival of Irish Whiskey

Attention, whiskey connoisseurs.
If you know your Proper Twelve from your Redbreast 15, there are three top shelf whiskey events to check out in Cork later this month.
Andrew Doyle TD, Minister of State for Food, Forestry and Horticulture, just unveiled the schedule for the four-day Festival of Irish Whiskey, which takes place from October 10th-13th, 2019 and three of the highlights are happening in Leeside venues.
The Festival of Irish Whiskey forms part of Fáilte Ireland’s Taste the Island campaign and is being co-ordinated by IrishWhiskey360°, the new brand and home for Irish whiskey tourism.
With nearly 40 events and promotions, free and discounted tours, open days, whiskey tastings and food pairings, cooperage demonstrations and ‘meet the distillers’ talks happening across the country, here’s what’s happening in Cork:
- October 10th-13th, 2019: Jameson Experience: Two for one promotions
Where: Jameson, Midleton
- October 11th, 2019: Clonakilty Irish Whiskey Food Pairing
Where: Celtic Ross Hotel, Rosscarbery
- October 13th, 2019: Clonakilty Distillery Open Day (entry free, tastings €5)
