It’ll be a muggy few days in the city.
Met Éireann says today’s “warm and humid” conditions will continue into next week, with temperatures of between 21C and 26C by day and up to 16C at night.
There will be spells of sunshine across most areas in Munster this morning. However, scattered showers across the far southwest will gradually push up northwards through the day.
Forecasters say it will be “warm into the afternoon and becoming humid with highest temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees Celsius generally.”
What’s happening for the weekend?
“Tonight will be very mild and humid. Dry in many areas under broken cloud with just isolated showers. Lowest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees Celsius in light easterly breezes.”
Saturday will be very warm and humid with a mix of cloud and sunshine and top temperatures of 19 to 25 degrees, but scattered showers across the southwest in the morning will gradually extend into other parts during the day, some heavy and thundery.
The outlook for Sunday is for more of the same, with “warmer or even hot days with sunshine and showers – some heavy and thundery” forecast for Monday and Tuesday, along with temperatures of up to 26C.
