Cork spot beats Conor McGregor’s pub to TWO golds at the Bar of the Year awards

There’ll be celebrations in Kinsale tonight.
The town’s Blue Haven Hotel scooped two Golds at the Irish Bar of the Year awards last night, beating UFC star Conor McGregor’s pub to the punch in the final round.
The busy spot, run by the Blue Haven Collection, was announced both Irish Food Bar of the Year and Irish Hotel Bar of the Year at the prestigious awards, presented at an event held in the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road in Dublin.
The Black Forge Inn, owned by McGregor, came in second, taking the Silver award home to Crumlin, as well as the coveted New Bar of the Year title and the Outstanding Customer Service Award. Blake’s Corner in Galway City took the Bronze award.
