Cork is getting a new Christmas market with cute wooden chalets and a funfair

This is giving supreme festive vibes.
Winterlee, a new immersive winter wonderland is opening in Cork this November, with a Christmas market set in wooden chalets serving festive food and drinks, local craft stalls, and a funfair.
The magical attraction will be set in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, where visitors can also try ice skating at the Alpine Skate Trail.
The venture is a collab between three homegrown Cork businesses (Cool Running Events, SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh and Brook Foods), who have teamed up to combine the thrill of a skate trail, a bustling winter village and a vibrant funfair to create Winterlee, the ultimate festive destination.

“We are excited to see our stadium continue to evolve, offering a unique experience for the Cork public and beyond.” said Kevin O’Donovan, CEO of Cork GAA & SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
“I am delighted to welcome Bill and the team at Cool Running Events, we believe this will be the first skate through an international stadium. Together with our catering partners, Brook Foods, we will provide yet another opportunity for people to gather in Cork City and experience our venue on a whole new level.”
