Cork Fringe is inviting interest from ‘brave, weird, and independent’ artists

Expect the unexpected.
Cork Fringe is back. The festival that champions the bold, the bizarre, and the beautifully unconventional will light up the city from May 8th to 10th, 2026… and the organisers have just put out an open call for local artists to get involved.
“Cork Fringe is all about creating a space to play, provoke, and excite in a low risk environment that allows artists to flourish” said Festival Directors Daniel Cremin and Ineke Lavers.

“We’re thrilled to welcome artists and audiences back for another weekend that celebrates fresh, innovative, and unexpected performances.”
After the huge success of last year, with sold out shows across the programme, Cork City will once again be transformed into a playground for theatre, comedy, music, performance art, and everything in between with the return of the festival.
The Cork Fringe artist application process is open from until January 13th so if you have a show, performance, or exhibition, the organisers would love to hear from you.
