Cork artist recreates incredibly lifelike scenes from the city

Beautiful stuff.
Cork-based artist Keith Anderson is winning plenty of praise online for his rendering of a familiar scene, the 206 bus from Grange trundling along South Mall.
In a post on his Twitter account, Anderson said that the oil on canvas work took him over 120 hours to complete, and it certainly shows in the quality. The image has been shared over 100 times since it was first uploaded yesterday.
My newest painting " The 206 to Grange " 40in X 30in oil on canvas. This painting took over 120 hours to complete. Would love for ppl to give it a RT as I want as many Corkonian's to see it as possible ! @CorkSafetyAlert @corkbeo @CorksRedFM @PhotosCork pic.twitter.com/NvtscXtHDk

The original image shared by Anderson is so true-to-life that it could be a photograph with a particularly intense Instagram filter, but a close-up video posted by the artist gives more insight into the depth created within the painting.
Quick 30 second clip to give a better sense of the depth I was trying to achieve in this painting. Thank you everyone that shared my last post, its always appreciated pic.twitter.com/yF758DsukR

Anderson is no stranger to painting scenes from his hometown, having spent over 800 hours on the works below – each a different scene from Cork city.
On the banks of my own lovely Lee . In total I have spent about 800 hours completing these paintings. I feel they are the truest example of my obsession for detail and a constant drive to make each one better than the last . I hope you enjoy and feel free to give a RT ! pic.twitter.com/5Dc4SLjZXQ
