Clear the kitchen floor – Stevie G is hosting live DJ sets from his Cork attic

You might even get the shift.
If you’re missing your weekly session in the ‘club (or you just fancy burning some calories while you’re stuck at home during the coronavirus restrictions) Cork DJ Stevie G has a unique party invitation for you.
The RedFM presenter asked the Cork public to help him gather 1,000 subscribers on YouTube so he could use the live service on his mobile to stream a virtual dance sesh for everyone who is self-isolating until the panic blows over.
You can even Skype your mates to join you.
Ok this is a long shot. And I hate to be that guy. But I want to do some live dj sets & parties on YouTube & I need to get 1000 subscribers to use it on my mobile. I’ve practically none atm I’ve never used it. Can you subscribe? Obviously it’s all free! https://t.co/48tdqPborU

With thousands of us battling cabin fever indoors, the people of Cork were all about it; within two hours Mr G had enough new followers to enable him to kick off a series of live parties from his attic, where he’s holed up with a disco ball and a collection of old records, as you do.
There’s really no better excuse to turn up the volume and shake a tail feather. Plus you can finally show your kids your best moves while they’re trapped inside your home with nowhere to escape your performance.
Push back the kitchen table, get all dolled up and mix yourself a cocktail; this is the closest you’ll get to a night out for a while.
Subscribe on YouTube here and await further instructions. See you on the virtual dancefloor.
Damn that took only 2 hours thanks so much all of you and your friends ❤️ first mix coming tomorrow night do a test tonight pic.twitter.com/LzJihPJP6s
