Chambers is hosting Cork’s first Open Stage for wannabe drag queens
Long live the queen.
Sometimes you just need the right opportunity to become the icon you’re destined to be. And now at Tipsy Thursdays, you can do just that at Cork’s First Open Drag Stage.
Upcoming queens and kings looking to cut their teeth on the Cork drag scene will get the chance to don their best leotard or suit and lip-sync for their lives every Thursday from 8pm in Chambers Cork.
The LGBTQ+ venue will be kicking off the flagship event with music, drink deals, audience participation games and of course, an open stage.
“We’ll be offering Cork’s first open drag stage for our gaggle of baby queens looking to be in the spotlight,” said the bar on Instagram.

On top of that, Chambers has decided to lower the age restriction to 19s+ in order to provide younger LBGTQ+ people with a safe space to enjoy their pre-drinks before heading out on the town for a night full of mischief. And during Pride month!
The event is hosted by queens Liam Bee and the hilarious Polly Glamorous, who will be drumming up the party atmosphere all evening with drag shows and games to keep audiences entertained.
