Celebrate Women’s Day with a new profile headshot (and it’s all for charity)
There’s a lot to think about when you start a new business.
Now a Cork hotel has put a hand up to take one job off your plate during the journey; The River Lee Hotel is once again offering a complimentary headshot session to women in business to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The initiative will run simultaneously at all Doyle Collection properties including The Marylebone in London, The Westbury in Dublin, The River Lee in Cork, and stateside at The Dupont Circle in Washington DC.
Participants will be able to book a slot at The River Lee on Wednesday, March 6th to have their headshots captured by local photographer Egle Laukyte from Artisan Chronicles.
Each guest will be provided with a digital headshot that can be used as a valuable marketing tool – whether it be for a website, social media, a LinkedIn update, or a media profile.

The initiative has an additional philanthropic aspect with donations collected on the day at each hotel contributing to a range of women’s charities. Headshots can be reserved in exchange for a donation of €15. At The River Lee, proceeds from the event will support Daisy House – an Irish charity that helps women journey out of homelessness.
The sessions at The River Lee will take place on Wednesday, March 6th from 9:30am to 4pm in its light-filled, lofty surroundings, with treats served throughout the day.
