Catch Vivaldi’s Four Seasons by candlelight in one of the city’s most historic venues
This will finish October on a high note.
The fabulous London Concertante, a chamber orchestra from the United Kingdom, will once again visit Cork to perform Antonio Vivaldi’s Four Seasons by candlelight in one of the city’s most historic and architecturally stunning venues.
The orchestra, which is regarded as one of the finest groups in Europe, is set to wow Leeside audiences at Saint Finbarre’s Cathedral, with performances of Vivaldi, Bach, Albinoni and Pachelbel to name but a few on October 30th.
Whilst seasoned veterans will be no strangers to the work of the Italian composer, the event is open to anyone in the mood for a spine-tingling experience.

In fact, many of the ensemble’s audiences are orchestra debutants who come to enjoy classical music- in all its beauty- for the first time.
