Cask just unveiled 16 unique new cocktails (so good luck trying them all)

By Yay Cork April 16, 2026April 15, 2026

Like we need an excuse for a night out.

One of Cork’s best-known bars is shaking things up this month—and you don’t need to be a cocktail expert to enjoy it.

Cask on MacCurtain Street just unveiled a brand-new menu called Tasty Anarchy and while the name might sound a bit out there, the idea behind it is refreshingly simple: delicious drinks, made with real ingredients, and stories you can actually taste.

Our first pick? A Buzzin’ With Intent: Boatyard Double Gin, Kinsale Atlantic Dry Mead, suze, honey fermented meadowsweet and bee pollen pickle.

Instead of complicated, overly fussy cocktails, this new menu focuses on flavour and where it comes from. There are 16 drinks in total, each created with help from local producers—think farmers, foragers and small makers—so what ends up in your glass is closely tied to the Irish landscape.

According to Managing Partner Andy Ferreira, the goal wasn’t to make cocktails more exclusive, but the opposite. “We wanted to go beyond the traditional cocktail experience,” he says, by creating drinks that feel more connected to the ingredients and the people behind them.

That means things like house-made elements, seasonal flavours and even some natural fermentation techniques. At its core, this is about making drinks that taste great and feel a bit more meaningful than your standard night out.

Since opening in 2017, Cask has built a reputation as one of Ireland’s most creative cocktail spots. Whether you’re a cocktail regular or someone who usually sticks to a pint, this might just be the menu that changes your mind.
