Be honest; you didn’t feel like cooking anyway.

If you fancy swapping your boring spag bol’ for something a little spicier this week, a brand new Mexican food truck is setting up shop in the original Aldi car park in Ballincollig (near Mr Price).

Now open, chef Kamil will be serving a mouthwatering menu of Mexican classics from his Lucha Libre truck, from hefty pulled chicken, chilli con carne or pinto bean burritos with all the toppings (€7.95) to tacos heaped with fresh guacamole, salsa, pico de Gallo and sour cream (€9.95 for five).

For hungrier customers, there’s also a Chilli Dog (sausage smothered in chilli con carne, taco mayo and crispy onions (€7.95) and a traditional hot dog served with ketchup and pickle.

Lucha Libre has already popped up at various other city and beach locations, where customers were delighted with the fresh, authentic take on Mexican fare.
