Cancel your dinner plans and try this glorious burger with a pint instead

It’s finally here.
The long weekend has arrived, baby, and that means all bets are off, anything goes and the fun starts with tonight’s dinner plans.
West Cork burger slingers Gemma Greany and Chris McDonald of Yay Burger (no relation to Yay Cork, btw) have been steadfastly building their fanbase in Ballydehob and Clonakilty, but now you can get your hands on one of their outrageous burgers right here in the city.
Yay Burger is now sizzling up a storm at The Poor Relation on Parnell Place from Wednesday to Sunday.
You can mosey on in and find yourself elbow-deep in a truly scrumptious BBQ pulled pork burger “cooked for longer than it takes to fly to Texas” or plump for the classic Patty Smith; a 6oz West Cork beef patty with Yay! Burger Sauce, onion marmalade, pickles, and iceberg lettuce.

The You Better Jerk chicken burger is an absolute win too – it’s topped with cheddar cheese, mango lime mayo and pickled ginger.
You can even wash down your dinner with some of Cork’s most sustainable beers – made in the heart of the city at Rising Sons Brewery just 850 metres away.
Try Yay Burger at The Poor Relation on Fridays 5pm-10pm, Saturdays, 1pm to 10pm and Sunday 1pm to 9pm.
