Buy a cake in Cobh this Sunday and help fund a tent school for children in Gaza

Attention, baked goodie fans.
If you needed an excuse to spend your Sunday morning eating cake for a great cause, here it is.
A community bake sale in aid of the Al Anqaa Tent School in Gaza is taking place on Sunday, March 8th from 10am to 1pm at Cobh Parish Hall, just behind St. Colman’s Cathedral.
Expect a table (or several) piled high with homemade bakes and sweet treats from some familiar local names, including Lilly Higgins and Seasalt Cobh, alongside contributions from friends and supporters. In other words: come hungry.
All proceeds from the morning will go towards Cork North Gaza Solidarity’s tent school initiative, supporting education for children in Gaza through the Al Anqaa Tent School project.

It’s set to be a simple, feel-good community event — pop in for a coffee, pick up something delicious for later and know that your Sunday treat is helping fund something meaningful.
Bring a friend, bring a reusable container (just in case), and we’ll see you by the cake table.
