There’s a little nip in the air.

To us, that means one thing: hot chocolate season is upon us… and not a moment too soon.

Over on Oliver Plunkett Street, the festive folks at Butlers Chocolate Café are busy restocking their counters today; as the clocks go back and the season of cheer kicks into gear, the return of the iconic Butlers Christmas Café Red Cup on November 1st is the official sign that Christmas is around the corner.

This year’s festive drinks list at Butlers includes a Crème Brûlée Dark Hot Chocolate, a Gingerbread Latte and a Winter Spice Milk Hot Chocolate.

As if that wasn’t enough to make you feel like decking the halls, they have also announced the return of their delightful Christmas Pudding Truffles.

These indulgent milk chocolate truffles, decorated as Christmas puddings, are available to buy at the counter if you want to treat someone special but you also nab one for free to accompany your festive beverage throughout the Christmas season.

As well as their decadent Christmas Advent Calendar: (€22), this year Butlers have also introduced Mini Crackers (€3), containing two delicious wrapped chocolates, and a Festive Sharing Cracker (€10), stuffed with a delicious selection of 20 assorted Butlers Truffles, Pralines and Caramels.

You know, just in case you needed an excuse to pop in tomorrow morning.
