Busy modern witches can join The Witchcraft Summit online this year

Can you conjure up some free time on Sunday, May 11th?
If so, then alert the coven: The Witchcraft Summit is happening online this year, giving Cork fans of all things feminist and mystical a chance to explore the historical and cultural evolution of witchcraft.
From medieval witch hunts to modern-day spiritual practices, participants can tune in at home to uncover how witchcraft has been shaped by gender, power, and activism throughout history.
“The image of the witch has long been used to control, demonise, and punish those who challenge societal norms.” say the organisers, Seed Talks.

“Yet, witchcraft has also been reclaimed as a symbol of resistance, empowerment, and feminist activism. This summit will trace the shifting perceptions of witches, exploring their role in history, politics, and contemporary spirituality.”
Join a supportive and inclusive community where you’ll gain fresh perspectives from leading historians, researchers, and practitioners and learn how the historical narratives of witchcraft continue to influence modern feminism, social activism, and the resurgence of spiritual witchcraft today.
Tickets for the full day of online talks, workshops, and Q&As (11am to 5pm) are available now here.
