Bring the kids AND your Nan to this all-ages daytime Silent Disco in town

This’ll be a bit of fun in the sun this Saturday.
The South Parish Community Fair takes place on Saturday, April 25th from 10:45am to 1pm at Elizabeth Fort and this year it includes an all-ages Silent Disco.
The disco (12:00–1:00pm), offers a unique, inclusive experience with three distinct music channels. Attendees can choose their own soundtrack, including:
- A children’s channel with fun, age-appropriate favourites
- A “golden oldies” channel featuring classic hits for those who love a nostalgic groove
- A mixed music channel spanning popular tunes across the decades
This multi-channel setup ensures that everyone—from toddlers to older adults—can dance along to music they love, making the Silent Disco a truly intergenerational highlight.
The event programme also includes a Guided Skyline Tour offering a unique perspective of Cork City, Ringo Music Bingo, a fun and social musical game experience, a live performance by Lleida Choir, blending classical, jazz-pop, folk, and world music, a vibrant flamenco performance showcasing traditional music and dance and a Digital Scavenger Hunt for children aged 4–12.
“This event is about bringing people together through learning and culture in a fun and accessible way,” said a spokesperson for the hosts, South Parish Learning Neighbourhood.
“The Silent Disco in particular reflects our goal of inclusion—offering something for every generation to enjoy.”
Admission is free, and all are welcome with a €10 deposit for silent disco headphones.
