Bring friends and join a clean-up in Beaumont Quarry this weekend

Fancy some fresh air and good vibes?
Building on the momentum of a highly successful January initiative, Cork Nature Network (CNN) is once again extending an invitation to the community to join forces in a clean-up operation at Beaumont Quarry this Saturday, February 24th.
The 11am event aims to preserve the natural beauty and ecological integrity of this key local habitat.
In January, dozens of volunteers gathered at the quarry, armed with bags and gloves, to remove litter and debris that had accumulated over time. The effort not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the area but also safeguarded the diverse wildlife that calls Beaumont Quarry home.
Volunteers who wish to participate in the upcoming clean-up are encouraged to meet at the main entrance of Beaumont Quarry on Saturday morning at 11am.
CNN will provide all necessary equipment, including gloves, bags, and pickers. Participants are advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for uneven terrain.
Those interested in participating are encouraged to book their place for free here.
