Bar Education is a clever pub night where you can learn new stuff over drinks

By Yay Cork May 28, 2024

Brought to you by Bar Education.

I mean, it’s kind of perfect.

Ever feel like you should be learning more in your downtime, then skip the workshop or lecture in favour of a pint with friends?

Now you can combine these two passions in one clever night out happening in Cork City.

Bar Education is inviting seasoned academics, industry experts, and innovators to share their insights, spark discussions, and provide answers to life’s burning questions – all over drinks at Rosie Maddison on the Bandon Road.

The first event tackles a big topic: on Sunday, June 9th, Majella Gavin, Director DNG Galvin Estate Agents will host Buying a House: What You Need to Know.

Ideal for anyone who is thinking about buying a house (but nervous because the property market is completely terrifying), the chartered surveyor, estate agent and valuer will offer impartial guidance on how to find the perfect home, navigate legal and inspection requirements, and avoid the common pitfalls associated with buying a property.

A focused and targeted Q&A will give everyone an opportunity to ask Majella any questions that they may have specific to their journey.

Tickets to Bar Education are €40 (book your spot here) and include three pints of beer or two glasses of wine or spirits. It’s probably the most fun you can have while learning how to navigate the property market as a first-time buyer.

In a world filled with questions, Bar Education aims to provide answers. They believe that learning isn’t just reserved for the classroom but should permeate every aspect of our lives. It’s a community where curiosity thrives, and knowledge is shared freely. Join Bar Education at the intersection of education and social connection – see all upcoming events at bareducate.com.
