Another popular store reopens on Opera Lane this morning – doors at 10.30am

It’s a good day for business in Cork.
As Brittany Ferries announces the return of the Cork-Roscoff route and McDonald’s reopen three Cork restaurants for walk-in orders, the reopening of Opera Lane continues apace.
Today will see popular fashion brand Next open its doors again on Cork’s busiest shopping street, joining Topshop, River Island, Specsavers, H&M, Skechers, Office Shoes, Compu B, GAP and Tommy Hilfiger, which all reopened last week.
The 11,000 sqft Next store will open at 10.30am. In order to adhere to social distancing guidelines while shopping, customers are asked to enter via Opera Lane and will exit onto Academy Street.
“Queues are anticipated and customers are asked to follow the advice of store personnel.” an Opera Lane spokesperson told Yay Cork.
“Store hours are limited with the store open 10.30am – 6.30pm Monday – Saturday and 12 noon – 6.30pm on Sundays. As far as possible please use contactless payment methods.”
As with all stores on Opera Lane, fitting rooms remain closed for the time being.
